Friends,
Quieries are raised about the timing of the judgement and updation. There is nothing we can do but to wait and pray. But the legal time given for the pronouncement of judgement is 6 months in supreme court. In practice judgements are pronounced after two months. As far as our experience goes in the previous case of 'less than 20 yrs' it took 2 months and more. So let us wait and pray.

Let me give you some news about our case filed at Madurai Court for updation of pension. We mentioned the case before the court in the first week of April but the Honb'le judge, showing the reason that there are more number of cases which are fresh pending for admission itself , refused immediete hearing of the case.
But we plan to mention again. The problem is that the management has not filed their counter so far, in spite of repeated reminders. Any way we will pursue with the court and bring it for hearing at the earliest.

The same is the position in Jaipur also.

There were lot of problems in getting the photo identity card from the offices for the Mediclaim. We have taken it up with the individual companies and sorting it out. We all should co-operate with the management as there will be teething problem when some new scheme is introduced.

We are not supposed to stop with the SVRS case alone as we have the major case of updation of pension at Madurai and Jaipur for which we all should unite and fight. Please wait for the momentum to pick up.

Let the Grace of God be with us.

I had taken SVRS from New India assurance and was a pension opted employee. at that time my service was 16 years and 7 months.I was refused pension on the ground that my service was less than 20 years. After supreme court judgment of 10.1.2014 the eligibility for pension is 10 years. I have written to New India management after that so many times for payment of my pension but they are not replying. Please help.arvindkumarchaudhry@yahoo.com

Dear friends,
D.A increase for the half year is 17slabs and please pass it on to others.
We are waiting to get some good news from the supreme court about the judgement. There are many quieries in the minds of people about exploring the possibilities of getting the judgement earlier.
There is no way out for us to speed up the matter.
There is one rule which says after one year we can represent to the Chief Justice.
Unless the judges inform the date even the court officials will not know.
People are asking about, if the judges retire without giving the judgement will there be trial again.
friends that situation will not arise as the judges who heard our case have another 2years and 5 years.
Only way out for us is to pray the Almighty and He is the only one who gives justice and it is thru these judges.
So let us approach him directly and pray Him and He will do the needful.
Let us pray for the best.

Friends
We have interacted with all the TPAs so as to get the id cards for our memebers and other retirees as well. We hope you all would have got the cards and if there are anybody who didnot get can approach the ROs concerned and if not available contact us and we will do the needful to get the same.
There are problems faced by the Retirees in getting the claim settled on cash less basis and as well there are delay in settlement of claim where there are no tie up hospitals. please send us your feed back after consulting your friends and the details of problems you face to us before 30th of this month.
We are going to take up with the Medassist in the first week of September to solve these problems. please give the particulars with reference to the claim and the name of the pensioner involved in that.
As far as our case is concerned it is almost 6 months from the date of last hearing and we are yet to get any judgement. We are in constant touch with our Advocates but the irony is that even they can not question the delay. The only way is to wait and pray God for the early judgement pronounciation. Let us all pray with more intensity so that we will get the judgement early.

Dear friends,
Our Association always fight for the right of the pensioners and in that course we won the case in 20 yrs less pension case at supreme court. The management even after our persuasion refused to implement the order to all the retirees come under the above case. They are restricting it to only the petitioners. Hence only three of the petitioners have got it and for the rest of the affected retirees we are filing a petition in Chennai High court on behalf of the Association on Wednesday. We have taken this decision after refusal by the management and any body who knows retirees who are affected by the above, ask them to immedietly contact us before wednesday so as to include their name also in the affected retirees list. The decision is the affected members to share the legal expenses among themselves.
please ensure the information comes to us before Tuesday.

Dear friends,
We got lot of mails from the affected retirees in the case of people who retired under SVRS opted for pension but did not get. Now we have collected their details and are approaching the lawyer for finalising the petition and will file it in the next week.
While we truly represent the retirees and work silently for them, we got mails from several members that certain organisations are conducting meetings and asking for money to fight the case of pensioners in court. While we appreciate the intentions of organisations, we oppose them strongly when they pose themselves as protectors, since they are the culprits who went against the SVRS retirees even when the management were willing to pay our arrears. Now that the time has come to expose these people. we would like to share certain facts among us. These were the organisations which demanded the management not to pay the arrears to SVRS retirees for which the management allocated some percentage and forced the management to give them more percentage in the negotiations held in 2006 Feb. thereby got increase of 13 %, which included 3% allocated for payment of arrears to SVRS retirees initially. The same associations have started now pensioners association and campaigning for pensioners just because they want power and money. I would only ask those retirees to put one or two questions to these so called leaders.1. Where were these leaders when we were demanding justice from the management when we were denied arrears and pay for the period we have actually worked. 2. Did any of these Association or leader have any where filed any case in any of the court in our land. 3. How suddenly they are shedding crocodile tears. 4.Let them show the actual agenda of the meetings after our retirement where they have asked for payement of arrears for SVRS retirees. 5. Have they filed any case in the name of Association to get our arrears payment.
If you people ask these questions they have no answer. and if they don't answer positively send them out.
The talk of communism has been forgotten long back by these unions which has affiliated themselves with communist parties. We are the real communists by policy since we had the courage to gang up all the affected retirees and fought the case for more than 10 years with so much of unity between us and with so much money we have spent. And the office bearers of our organisation have spent so much of their personal money initially.
Now we are at the end of the Road expecting some light when the judgement comes. You will see many leaders and organisations coming forward to own the result of the case, but the fact remains that we are the only organisation which has fought for the legitimate right of the SVRS retirees and after filing a case in Madurai and Jaipur for updation of pension, no one can claim that they are fighting for the pensioners.
I would like to point out one more instance in the case of LIC where in the majority Union there has given maximum hurdles to Mr.Asthana who independently fought for the Lic retirees and now he has reached the stage which is now pending at Supreme Court and will come up for hearing any time. Where were these so called Associations when Mr.Asthana and others pleaded with Unions and Associations to help them in the D.A case. Even now, after they reached the final hearing stage at Sup.court these major unions are involving themselves in divisive politics and giving maximum trouble to Shri.Asthana. This is the status to day.
So please don't get yourselves involved with these people.
Our only request to you all is pray the almighty for favorable result and let us fight our updation of pension case with the same vigour and strength.

The SC while dismissing the case has been wrongly guided particularly Notional credit of 5 years issue by the Managements.Court should have verified before dismising the case.
Again in the revision of pension benefits the court is silent and has not looked into even thepast decisions it has given in Bank retirees case.
My feeling is -the court is biased and we cannot expect any favorable judgements from the present bench of SC as it appears they are biased, partial and does not probe into the facts before pronouncing judgement. Or they may be bribed heavily by management and only the mo ney speaks through their mouth.
In this country poverty is not only the curse it is the evil of all those Haves in this great ramarajya.

wHILE FIXING THE PENSION SCALE, THERE WAS A CLEAR INSTRUCTION BY THE AUTHORITIES THAT ADDITIONAL STAGENATION INCREMENT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE SVRS RETIREE.
In HUbli RO of UIIC, the then RM has vciolated totally this aspect of pension rule. Around 18 retirees officers not only the due stagnation increment was not given but also the additional increment to those tetirees as per pension rule was also not given and these retirees are affected by two stagnation increments which is totally a great blunder by violating the rules laid by the pension authorities.
